In this little hillside painting, I was working on capturing the effect of bare-limbed trees in the fall and winter season. It is a challenge to create this illusion, but I'm satisfied with the results. The painting is 5 x 7 inches on 1/4-inch gessoed hardboard. Technorati tags:
